Beacon Day School in La Palma has an exceptional program for children with Autism and related disorders. Children with Autism are best equipped for success in life when provided an integrated education and training in natural settings. Beacon Day School offers one-on-one and group instruction along with many different therapies such as speech and language, physical therapy, occupational therapy, music, arts and crafts, canine therapy, social skill development and independence skills. The program utilizes an integrative approach combining therapies with academic and behavioral interventions. It runs K-12 and there are Transition programs for individuals up to age 22 that provide community-based instruction for work and life skills.
