Most of us need to drive a car, and most of us go through a driving school while we are quite young. Few skills we learn as children or young teens carry life or death consequences. Driving does. Automobile crashes are the leading cause of death for people from 15 to 20 years old in Oregon. Each year, 600 Oregon teenagers are involved in fatal or injury crashes. Nationally, approximately 40,000 Americans die in car crashes each year. No one wants to be part of those statistics. The state of Oregon adopted and augmented a remarkable driver education program that saves lives by teaching a set of low-risk driving habits. Those habits have been shown to lower the risk of being involved in the most serious collisions. Pacific Driver Education instructors are certified by DMV and the ODOT Transportation Safety Division to provide that training to you.

Andrew Wright earned his Bachelors Degree in Music from California State University, Fullerton. He has over 10 years of private teaching experience and has nearly 20 years of performance experience. He has performed in many settings including rock bands, funk groups, large and small jazz ensembles and as a solo guitarist. Andrew is dedicated to providing a fun and effective learning environment. His goal is that each of his students develop the skill of connecting with others on a musical level. Andrew's passion is to instill the love of music into the lives of others.

Andrew earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music from California State University, Fullerton. He has over 15 years of private teaching experience and 20 years of performance experience. He has performed in many settings including rock bands, funk groups, large and small jazz ensembles and as a solo guitarist. Andrew’s musical education began with piano lessons at age five. At age eleven he picked up the trombone and his first guitar lessons were at age twelve. Somewhere along the way he picked up the bass and drums as well. Over the years Andrew has studied with many of Southern California’s top musicians, including Adam Speth, Dave Murdy, Luther Hughes and Ron Eschete. The most influential of his instructors was renowned 7-string guitarist, Ron Eschete. Andrew had the privilege of studying privately with Ron for two-and-a-half years while attending CSU, Fullerton. Ron is truly a harmonic mastermind whose knowledge of the guitar is unparalleled. He is known to some as the “Yoda of Jazz Guitar.” While Andrew has had many great teachers over the years, he feels that his greatest education has come from his wealth of performance experience. He has performed in many settings including rock bands, funk groups, large and small jazz ensembles and as a solo guitarist. All told Andrew has several hundred performances under his belt and currently plays in the instrumental trio, “Mo’ Strings”.
