​Barberton Area Community Ministries began in 1997 as a combined community ministry to assist low-income individuals in Barberton and Norton. Since then, BACM has grown to serve over 6,000 people a year, providing food assistance, temporary emergency shelter, free tax preparation and referrals to other programs and services. Our funding comes from local churches, individual donors, foundation & government grants, fundraising events, local businesses and community groups. Additionally in 2014, we received food donations from churches, community groups, local businesses, individuals and the City of Barberton valued in excess of $140,000.

Since 1984, we have found that by offering only high-quality products at a fair price, we receive a mutual benefit that we share with our customers.
