First organized in 1946, the EBA is an East Coast based league with teams coming from all over the East coast. The Eastern Basketball alliance has brought Bad News Ballers to Newport News. The EBA allows aspiring players the opportunity to showcase their skills and talents in a highly competitive league, while providing affordable, quality family entertainment. Players come from successful Division I, II, and III collegiate programs. The EBA serves as a spring board for many that have the hope of playing in overseas leagues and in the NBA. Bad News Ballers is dedicated to inspiring our younger generation through involvement in the community, supporting the Boys and Girls Club and Big Brothers and Big sister and providing free basketball clinics and special event nights.
