Manta is a site dedicated to helping small businesses and the consumers that support them through digital marketing efforts. Our mission is to empower small businesses to achieve their full potential and reach new customers by claiming their business online, implementing effective SEO, and by building and strengthening your brand.
On Manta’s blog, we aim to provide SMBs with the tools to succeed and learn through different digital marketing platforms and assets. In this way, it helps them grow and be found by the people who are looking for them. Let’s get started!
Manta Small Business Focus
Small businesses are our bread and butter. Our hammer and nail. It doesn’t matter what industry you are in, we want to help your business succeed!
We seek out and accept articles on topics relating to small businesses and helping them succeed. That could be everything from creating a more productive office culture, how to grow your business brand through social media, or ways to improve local SEO to help customers find your SMB.
We want your expertise.
If you have first-hand experience as a member or owner of a small business, or have lots of experience writing and researching on business and digital marketing topics, we’d love to hear from you. Adding your expertise and insight helps add value to our blog for others in your related industry to learn and grow in their digital marketing endeavors.
We expect quality writing.
Your content should be a well-written, digital marketing-conscious piece. We know you want people to read what you write, and so do we! Be sure to make your article accessible and easy to understand in order to make that happen. Take some time to familiarize yourself with our recent posts to see what we’ve already covered and what our readers find most interesting.
What we look for.
We expect and look for articles that are:
- At least a minimum of 850 words long.
- Written in a professional, friendly tone with small businesses in mind.
- Convey a sense of authority about a topic related to our readers’ interests.
Be prepared.
While we accept both full-length articles as well as pitches, make sure your ideas and completed projects are as ready for publication as you can make them. Be sure to include an author’s bio and professional headshot with your article or pitch submission. You’ll receive an email letting you know if your submission has been accepted or rejected, with additional instructions on what to do if we decide to move forward with your work.
If Your Submission is Accepted
If your article is accepted for publication, we will inform you of the date in which your article is expected to be published. We will also respond with any additional notes/comments we may have about the article.
If Your Submission is Denied
If your article is denied for publication, take some time to review the guidelines and see if there are certain areas where you were lacking. And while your piece may have been well written, there are some submissions that just aren’t what we’re looking for.
Please note that we do not accept submissions through emails. By clicking the Submittable button below, you’ll be redirected to our site with further instructions on how to submit your work.
We look forward to reading what you’ve got!
