In early 2026 I experienced the loss of my twin daughters to stillbirth. I felt very lost and unsure of how to cope. I didn't think I would ever feel peace again. From pretty paintings, my work evolved to peaceful paintings. I am now able to paint pretty, peaceful things and think of my daughters. Instead of the ugly grief, I am remembering them with the freedom and peace of the ocean.
