Dr. Vranic completed two vascular surgery fellowships, one traditional fellowship following his residency in general surgery at Ohio University in Columbus, and an additional fellowship at the Arizona Heart Institute where he learned cutting edge minimally invasive endovascular techniques from his mentor, AHI founder, & world-recognized surgeon, Dr. Edward B. Diethrich. As part of his advanced training as a vascular surgeon, Dr. Vranic received certification as a wound care specialist and hyperbaric oxygen specialist through extensive training in the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. Dr. Vranic is a Board Examiner of Vascular Surgery for both oral and written examinations and has been for over ten years at Midwestern University.
