Dr. Sherida Suarez was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, and raised in McAllen, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of TexasPan American, proudly graduating as part of the final class before the institution became The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Dr. Suarez went on to receive her medical degree from McGovern Medical School in Houston, formerly known as UT Houston Medical School. She completed her residency training through the University of Texas Rio Grande ValleyDHR program in McAllen, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.
