We needed a pickup fast. One of our F-150s blew a head gasket and I wasn't going to sit through three weeks of dealer back-and-forth. Found a 2021 F-150 on Iron Lot, lot #3812, 44k miles. Read through the condition report twice, cross-checked the VIN on CarFax, looked up what the same trim was going for on private market. The repo price was $6k under. Bid Monday evening, won Tuesday morning. Wired payment before noon. Car was on a trailer by Thursday and at our yard the following Tuesday. Title came clean, no liens, nothing weird. The condition report said minor wear on the driver's seat bolster - it was there, exactly as described. That's all I need. Tell me what's wrong with it and let me decide. I've bought four vehicles through dealers this year. This was the least painful transaction of all of them.
