Dr. John Forstall is a board-certified pulmonary disease and critical care medicine physician with Baptist Health Medical Group Lung and Sleep Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. His expertise includes navigation bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, percutaneous tracheostomy and tunneled pleural catheter placement. Dr. Forstall earned a bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and received his osteopathic medicine degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan. He completed an internal medicine residency and a pulmonary/critical care fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Dr. Forstall also is board certified in internal medicine.
