Dr. Jose Torres is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in Ocoee. With more than 30 years of experience, his specialties include hand surgery, total knee and shoulder replacements, and rotator cuff repair and reconstruction. Dr. Torres earned a bachelor's degree in biology at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and a master's degree in biochemical genetics at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, New York. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, where he also completed an orthopedics residency. Dr. Torres completed a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
