Dr. James Lefler is a fellowship-trained interventional neuroradiologist with Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health in St. Petersburg and Wesley Chapel. He uses advanced imaging procedures such as angiography, CT and MRI to diagnose brain, spine, head and neck disorders including cerebral aneurysm, strokes, brain bleeds, blood clots, and head and neck tumors. Dr. Lefler earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he also received his medical degree. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, followed by fellowships in diagnostic neuroradiology and interventional and therapeutic neuroradiology at the University of California in San Francisco.
