Ashmyan, DO, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon based in New Jersey, specializing in shoulder, elbow, and knee surgery, including shoulder replacement surgery and arthroscopic procedures. A native of Queens, New York, Dr. Ashmyan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics (Magna Cum Laude) from Queens College before completing his medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He pursued his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia, followed by fellowship training in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
