He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he discovered a strong passion for physiology and pharmacology, ultimately guiding him toward a career in anesthesiology. Following medical school, Dr. Iannaccone completed his internship in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. He then began his residency in anesthesiology at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School, where he served as Chief Resident. Dedicated to further specialization, he completed a prestigious fellowship in pain management at Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, based at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City.
