Tricia Poulos Leonard, artist, author, and mentor, empowers creatives with 20+ years of expertise. Author of The Artist’s Map to Success, she inspires artists to turn passion into thriving careers. Tricia Poulos Leonard has always been passionate about art, starting with school events and competitions, where she learned to create beauty from anything. After graduating high school in California, she pursued art at UCLA, balancing her passion with practicality. Despite winning numerous awards, she realized she lacked the skills to make a living from art. This led her to a career in teaching, counseling, and administration, spanning 27 years, while still yearning to thrive as an artist. Determined, Tricia studied art marketing and business, achieving success with her first solo art show. In 2020, she published The Artist’s Map to Success, sharing strategies for artists to build sustainable careers, followed by an updated edition in 2026. Based in Reno, Nevada, she paints daily, writes books for parents, and leads art organizations, including The Nevada Co-operative Gallery. Splitting her time between Reno and Phoenix, Tricia continues to inspire through her art, writing,&mentorship.
