Christopher Magallon has been established as a teacher in the Encinitas area since 1980. He began early studies at the age of nine with Frank Maglioco, Chair of the Music Department at Citrus College. Further studies for eight years were with Steven Gordon, who had studied with the famed Russian master, Sergei Tarnowsky, teacher and mentor of Vladimer Horowitz.
