Driveway installation requires heavy equipment and expert knowledge to be done properly. The first step is to create a uniform and compact subgrade using dirt. The subgrade should be able to support the concrete pad and provide an even thickness to prevent crumbling and cracking. Vibrating plate compactors and rammers are used to ensure the subgrade is tightly compacted in preparation for installation. Next, experts evenly place control joints to create the shape of the concrete driveway. The joints are placed on the outer rim of the desired concrete pad location and act as a container for the poured concrete driveway. Lastly, the concrete mixture is expertly formulated for maximum strength and longevity. The concrete is then poured and shaped to ensure full coverage of the desired surface. Experts smooth the concrete to create a uniform surface and later brush the top layer.
