We provide quality representation for custody, divorce, criminal, juvenile, orders of protection, and military issues. Our firm was founded on the idea that clients deserve quality representation. That idea is as true today as it was the first day we opened our business. Anthony Kirby practices primarily in the areas of family law (including divorce, custody, and post-divorce matters), juvenile law, and criminal law. After graduating from Washington and Lee University in Virginia with a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art in 2013, Mr. Kirby returned home to Middle Tennessee to attend law school at Belmont University College of Law, earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2016. Mr. Kirby is licensed in state court for both Tennessee and Kentucky, as well as the Middle District of Tennessee Federal Court and the Western District of Kentucky Federal Court. Mr. Kirby is assisted by his wife and paralegal, August Kirby. August Kirby handles each case in conjunction with Mr. Kirby. A lifelong resident of Tennessee, August attended Austin Peay State University where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in 2013 as a Political Science major and Psychology minor. After a hiatus from education and a few years of working in a local law office, August attended law school at the Nashville School of Law, earning her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2021 while working as a paralegal. August is not currently licensed to practice law in any jurisdiction, but is a valuable asset to Kirby Law.
