This was one of the most unique airbnbs I've stayed in. The property has tiny homes, farm animals, and best of all - fresh eggs! We were minutes away from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. The tiny home we stayed in was extremely cute and had a farmhouse feel. It was very clean and the caretaker of the property made sure we had everything we needed. We're hoping to come back to stay in a yurt next time!

This laid-back time away was just what the family needed to reconnect. We fell in love with the mission behind The Farmstead and look forward to staying there again.

Such a unique lodging experience. It's so cool to get to stay in a well-designed, super-clean tiny home, on a working farm. And it's so convenient to Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Asheville and the Tryon Equestrian Center. Tons of fun activities right on property including archery, axe throwing, interacting with the animals, learning about farming, fire pits and more. This is a true getaway from the hustle and bustle of the everyday.

The Farmstead is an experience unlike any other. We were able to unplug for a weekend and enjoy the beauty and simplicity this place has to offer. Come up here with all the kids or just by yourself and escape the city and truly connect with your family. Service is amazing! Cant wait to book our next trip up :)

Relax and unplug!
My wife and I brought our 11 month old down for the weekend just to get away. It was our first time staying in a tiny house which was fun in itself. It had a washer/dryer, fridge, oven, stove, pans, and even cards and board games. Outside we had a grill for cooking and a fire pit.
Even though it was wet and rainy most of the time, we still got out and walked all over the property. We loved the animals!! The homesteaders on site gave us some treats to feed the cows, donkey and goats. I really liked Norman the bull!! It was so cool to walk around and hear the turkeys gobble at one end of the property and the ducks and geese quacking at the other end.
You can tell the owners are really trying to make this a fantastic place to come and stay. I saw some young fruit trees as well as grape vines throughout the property. They have started setting up glamping and yurt sections, so there are more things to come. The homesteaders were great to talk to and were available and more than willing to accommodate us if we needed anything. They even supplied us with fresh eggs for breakfast!
We are looking forward to coming back and bringing the rest of the kids with us!

Absolutely an amazing time. Unplugged and got to spend time with Norman the bull and Elsa the cow. Brian on the Property is soooo nice and welcoming. Only 45 mins from downtown Asheville and about 10 mins from locally owned shops. They really put a lot of care and love into the farmstead! We will be back very very soon!
