Dr. Deepa Bassi is board certified in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology, Dr. Bassi is dedicated to providing accurate cancer diagnoses. At CTCAÂ, she works with a multidisciplinary team and analyzes test results to help recommend appropriate cancer treatments. At the Phoenix hospital, Dr. Bassi works in the pathology laboratory to evaluate, diagnose and review laboratory tests and tissue samples. Dr. Bassi definitively diagnoses disease (or lack thereof) when either a biopsy or surgical resection is removed from a patient at CTCA. Test results help the care team diagnose and stage cancer, plan treatments, monitor the disease, review treatment progress and track patient health.
