James D Peters DO, graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in microbiology. His Doctor of Osteopathy degree was earned at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Peters completed his internship and orthopaedic residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, CO.
Upon completion of his education and training, Dr. Peters served on active duty with the US Army as an orthopaedic surgeon. He completed overseas tours in both Korea and in Iraq during his military career and he finished his military service at Ft. Benning, GA. Having satisfied his military obligations, Dr. Peters moved to and has practiced orthopaedic surgery in Dublin, GA since July of 1993.

His special interests are in microsurgery, sports injuries of the elbow, the transference of tissue, arthroscopy of the wrist, replantation following amputations and microsurgery. Dr. Callaway is a fellowship trained, orthopedic spine surgeon who specializes in both surgical and nonoperative management of spine conditions. He has a special interest in providing the least invasive approach to manage the patient's condition and has special training in minimally invasive spine surgical techniques, robotic spine surgery, and motion preservation.
Dr. Callaway graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia.
