In 1994, he started his residency in family practice at Des Moines General Hospital. In 2002, he continued his residency and preceptorship in dermatology at the Advanced Dermatology and Laser Center in Moline, Ill. Dr. Hayes is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.
