Dr. Sapp is a board certified, fellowship-trained plastic surgeon with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. His special interests are in microsurgery, sports injuries of the elbow, the transference of tissue, arthroscopy of the wrist, replantation following amputations and microsurgery. He is an associate professor of Mercer University's School of Medicine and a clinical assistant professor in the department of surgery. Dr. Sapp has authored several manuscripts, book chapters and medical journal articles on medical issues of the hand & upper extremity. Dr. Sapp has presented on these topics at both state and national conferences. Currently he is conducting research in regenerative medicine (stem cell).
