Walter and Wilhelmina Banks were born and raised in Oakland, California. They married in the late 1920s. Wilhelmina raised three girls while Walter worked at the Caterpillar Tractor Co. When they retired, they became enthusiastic Rockhounds traveling the Western United States in a giant, square Winnebago collecting agates and attending Rockhound Gem and Mineral shows. WW Banks is their legacy consisting of Agates, Australian Opals, and Obsidian.
