The Jewel Of Oakmont We're The Oaks Theater, and we've been a multi-purpose event venue here in Oakmont, PA, since 2002. We accommodate different events from classic movies and live bands to renting out the venue for graduation parties and baby showers. We're proud to be able to provide our community with an event space, complete with professional sound and lighting, all housed in a historic building over 80 years old. The Oaks Theater first opened its doors on November 18, 1938. At the time, it was called “The Jewel of Oakmont” and brought joy through entertainment for people of all ages. Historically a movie theater, we transformed the venue 20 years ago for all types of events. We're looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Oakmont and the surrounding communities. We'd like to personally invite you to stop in today to take in a classic movie, live music, improv night, comedy show, lecture, live theater, and so much more! less
