Health management consulting firm. The Athletic Trainer Aide functions as an aide in a clinical setting; or in a high school, college or professional athletic training center. The Aide will assist the Certified Athletic Trainer or other healthcare professionals in the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. This will include assisting in the assessment and documentation of athletic injuries, acute and chronic injury management, treatment protocols, principles of conditioning, and return to competitive activity. In addition, effective communications skills with athletes/patients as well as medical professionals are required.
