Unfortunately, my experience with Royal Jordanian completely broke that expectation. I ended up paying $140 for two seats that were clearly displayed during booking as a two-seat row configuration. However, upon boarding, my wife and I were surprised to find that the row actually had three seats. This completely defeats the purpose of paying extra, as no one intentionally pays for a middle seat. It felt misleading and frankly unacceptable. My assigned seat, 6K, was another major issue. The seat had almost no cushioning at all, making it extremely uncomfortable for a long-haul flight. I had to stack multiple pillows and blankets just to avoid severe back pain. For an international airline, especially one associated with a premium alliance, this level of seating quality is disappointing. Customer service was equally frustrating. I initially called a representative in Detroit to get basic information about the aircraft and flight. Instead of helping, I was redirected to another number, which I believe was based in Chicag Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Most of the flight attendants were professional and clearly working hard to manage the passengers. However, the overall passenger essage Ruchiagain!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again.
