If I could rate a ZERO I would. My experience has been hell at this school. Roxie Reese school owner false advises students with manipulation and intimidation tactics to obtain their money. I requested an new instructor after being asked numerous times to come in for additional help while going through a death in my family. (I signed up for online 100%, didnt have a problem coming in; advised multiple times I was dealing with a death and would come in once the opportunity presented its self) Roxie stated she did not appreciate me asking for a new instructor and that everyone is dealing with life however I made a commitment not her. (she included her insensitive personal feelings along with cc'ing all the school instructors when she could of simply could have stated it was not allowed) She then continues to say " i also do not know your personal situation as i am not an instructor so I assume you are reaching out because you are behind (which I was not) and to be clear and concise when addressing me as I am not up to speed on your individual experience" I state how personal feelings didnt need to be involved and it resulted in more comments from Roxie stating She has her eye lash extension license and that due to my unprofessional comments I was dismissed from the school immediately. I was allowed to finish the program since I only had a few weeks left. ( No contact or apology from Roxie , her instructors only reached out to me) on my last week of school I received an email from Roxie stating my work would not be graded until I paid the remaining balance off ( I was on a agreed payment plan that exceed the gradation date) due to 80% of students were defaulting on payment plans due to too many scholarships that lowered the schools revenue and due to laying off employees, they no longer were going to spend time on students who were going to have a balance at the end of the program. And that i was not personal just business. And that when I could pay my full balance I could complete my last week. Once I reached out to multiple other recourses I was advised per TDLR she could not withhold my earned credits and hours after I advised Roxie this, I was allowed to complete my last week. Obtaining a license for an eye lash extension is already hard enough as it is and a lot of people don't have a lot of knowledge since it is such a new field. I couls spent my time studying for the exam instead of going back and forth with Roxie. Roxie Reese preys and takes advantage of people who do not know the TDLR laws! Do not enroll into her school. It is super unorganized and unprofessional. She will attempt to threaten to stop grading work and hold your hours/credits until you pay in full even if you are on an agreement payment plan that exceeds the program. She won't do her due diligence in reporting what you have earned or stop you from trying to earn until you pay. By TDLR laws she can not do that! Please do your research prior to enrollment. She will reach out to ask you to REMOVE reviews if they are negative. (I am convinced she only keeps up the positive reviews) Save yourself the hassle and enroll in any other school. I was recommended here and I trusted a referral and failed to do my own research. Don't be like me. She only cares about herself and the MONEY ONLY she is willing to treat anyone like whatever to get your money.
