The question is often asked: “How is primary care for the LGBTQIA+ community any different from care for everyone else?”. For the most part it isn’t. We conduct annual physicals, recommend standard preventive screening and immunizations, treat chronic illnesses with state-of-the-art and evidence-based protocols, prescribe common medications and strive to be available for same-day treatment of acute illnesses.
