Hi there! My name is Jay. I’m the owner of TheRugKidd. I turn creative/custom artwork into the form of throw rugs using yarn and felt.

I first discovered tufting (the proper name for creating rugs) on YouTube back in October of 2021. I took interest and decided to try tufting myself. The first rug I created was a Pink and White Chanel Rug. I showed my parents and they were mind-blown! After seeing the excitement in their faces, I continued to create more rugs.
