This was my first visit to Dr. Shannon Carpenter office. The location of her office is difficult to find because there's no visible signage on the outside that says The Bone Heath Clinic. Therefore, I was late for my appointment, but I did call several times informing them I'm in the area but can't find her office. I finally made it and was welcomed by Robin, who was really nice and professional. Robin took my ID and insurance information and informed me that because I was late, I had to wait 25 minutes because there was another appt that was scheduled. Robin NEVER once mentioned I had to reschedule. I thanked her and agreed to wait. Robin even wished me a Happy Birthday! After 45 minutes had passed, Robin came and told me the previous appointment was taking longer, so after waiting 10 more minutes, Dr. Carpenter came to the waiting area to replenish the snack tray. I NEVER meant Dr. Carpenter, and she wasn't wearing a name tag, so I didn't know who she was. I asked her how much longer it would be before I was seen. Dr. Carpenter asked my name, and I told her. Her response was, "You were late!" I informed her Robin and I had already worked that out and I just need to know how much longer do I have to wait because it's been almost an hour after I was told it would be 25 minutes. Dr. Carpenter said to me with a LOT of attitude, "we don't have a crystal ball that tells us how long each patient takes, and you need to reschedule." I was SHOCKED at the behavior that was CLEARLY rude and unprofessional, so I asked." What is your name? She replied by saying, "I'm Dr. Shannon Carpenter!" My shocking response was, "You're Dr. Carpenter!" I asked her why she was talking to me with such disrespect, rudeness, attitude, and that she was being EXTREMELY unprofessional. Dr, Carpenter then told me AGAIN, I need to reschedule after waiting 1 hour to be seen and then she ACTUALLY opened the front door as to say to me, "GET OUT!" Her attitude was HORRIBLE! I'm 68 yrs.old, and I NEVER had a doctor conduct themselves or treat me like Dr. Shannon Carpenter. I'm not sure if it was the color of my skin (which is how I felt, being I was the only person of color and the only one being treated badly) or Dr. Carpenter was having a bad day or possibly both. But WHATEVER, the reason/s NOBODY should be treated like I was. It was a really HORRIBLE experience. A couple waiting to be seen who witnessed everything were SHOCKED, as well, at how I was treated by Dr. Shannon Carpenter. After I let Dr. Carpenter, know of my displeasure with how she conducted herself with such unprofessionalism and disrespect towards me. She did apologize, but even her apology CLEARLY wasn't sincere and was given with a LOT of attitude, as well. Needless to say, I will NEVER return to The Bone Health Clinic that Dr. Shannon Carpenter owns.

This was my first visit to Dr. Shannon Carpenter office. The location of her office is difficult to find because there's no visible signage on the outside that says The Bone Heath Clinic. Therefore, I was late for my appointment, but I did call several times informing them I'm in the area but can't find her office. I finally made it and was welcomed by Robin, who was really nice and professional.
