Piscataway, NJ, United States Audrey Abend is a fourth-year medical student at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (Class of 2025) and is interested in pursuing Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Audrey was also a Women’s Epee fencer for 15 years, where she competed on the national and international stage. She is a three-time Junior World Team member, winning her first Junior Word Cup with a silver medal at the Bratislava, Slovakia World Cup event in 2013. Her love of being an athlete and competing turned to endurance training and CrossFit, and in 2018 Audrey competed in the GoRuck Tough event in NYC in honor of first responders during 9/11. Then, in 2023 she competed in the Asbury Park Games after beginning training in CrossFit in 2022. In addition to sport competition and her medical studies, she loves to travel and explore new cuisines with her partner and family.
