Chatterton Myo Courses was developed based on a program developed by Galen Peachey. Galen Peachey was one of the original four founders of the IAOM (International Association of Orofacial Myology). He was the first Speech-Language Pathologist to open a practice primarily focused on Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders in the Western United States. That practice was Boise Speech and Hearing Clinic which was founded in the early 1970's. Boise Speech and Hearing Clinic was purchased by myself (Rian Chatterton) in 2013 with all rights to the program and Galen's work now owned by me. I continued my education, updated the program to ensure that all areas of orofacial myofunctional disorders were being addressed and not just "tongue thrust". After seeing the success we were having in our practice, I decided to brand the product, copyright it, and share it with other SLPs across the country.
