Little Pigs Barbecue opened its doors in February of 1962 at 2822 Rosewood Drive in Columbia, SC as the 31st franchise of Little Pigs of America, based in Memphis Tennessee. In early 1965, Little Pigs of America filed for bankruptcy and the Columbia operation changed its operating name to the Little Bar-B-Q Hut.
