Dr. Ernst is board certified foot and ankle care surgeon. Specializing in reconstructive procedures, limb preservation, deformity Dr. Ernst is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, providing comprehensive foot and ankle care for both the adult and pediatric patient. He specializes in reconstructive procedures, limb preservation, deformity correction, trauma, and congenital pediatric deformities. Dr. Ernst is passionate about providing a customized treatment plan for each individual patient to meet their needs and provide maximum functional improvement and quality of life. Originally from Nebraska, he was accepted into the podiatric medicine and surgery program at Des Moines University in Iowa. His residency training was completed at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth where he gained extensive experience in trauma and diabetic limb salvage.
