With over 25 years of experience in nursing, Laura Carvalho holistically prioritizes the individual health needs of the patients and families she serves. She has always wanted to make a difference in the lives of others, starting as a social worker and meeting the many psychological and social needs in communities. Her desire to help only grew as she became a nurse in public health, and then a nurse practitioner.
