Dr. Mercado completed an internal medicine-pediatrics residency at New York Medical College, a cardiology fellowship at the University of Puerto Rico, and an interventional cardiology fellowship at Montreal Heart Institute. He is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease
