Somewhere in the backwoods of the internet, there is a company called Bootlegger Soap, that is barnstorming America with its curated collection of America’s finest handcrafted soaps and body products Soaps and bath products so good, that they should be prohibited. But behind this quirky and charming facade is the true story that is as intriguing as prohibition itself. Several years ago, a few friends were working for a major healthcare manufacturer and we became increasingly frustrated with the quality of the soaps and body products being produced, marketed and sold. So, we left “Big Soap” and set out to create soaps and body products that would be cleaner smelling, long lasting, stronger – yet very gentle on the skin. We combined the highest quality ingredients, the most talented soap artisans and traditional cold-process soap making methods (with a few modern tweaks) and discovered a new and better way to create America’s finest soaps.
