Dr. Sarah DeFries earned her DMD from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her BS in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before dental school, she worked as an ABA Behavioral Therapist for children with autism and as a nursing assistant for patients with disabilities experiences that sparked her passion for serving those with special healthcare needs. Dr. DeFries is committed to expanding access to oral care through offices that accept multiple insurance types and offer financial plans to make treatment more affordable. She continues her education in general dentistry, dental implant placement, and over-dentures. Outside the office, she enjoys time with her dog, Lily, and her partner, Ismael.
