Dr. Sean T. Ganther, DDS, PhD is a clinician-scientist originally from Pasadena, California. He earned his undergraduate degree in Human Physiology with a minor in Analytical Chemistry from California State University, San Bernardino, and completed his combined DDS/PhD training at the University of California, San Francisco, one of the most competitive dental-research programs in the world. His doctoral research focused on periodontal disease, oral cancer, and the relationship between oral and systemic health using advanced functional genomic and epigenetic techniques.
