Julie Tummonds received her nursing degree from the University of Alaska, Anchorage in 2008. She worked on the cardiac unit until the birth of her twin girls in 2009. Her transition to dermatology was natural as a close family member had been diagnosed with Melanoma at an early age so skin care and protection had always been a priority. She started her dermatology career working at the Skin and Laser Surgery Center of NY under Dr. Gernomous and after moving to California. She has focused primarily on laser treatments that include laser hair removal, IPL, Micropen and Xtrac. Julie prides herself in helping patients reach their skin care goals and maintain them.
