Life’s challenges shape us, and I’ve had my share—bullying, trauma, and hardship taught me how stress, pain, and injury are deeply connected. Sport became my refuge, but when my health declined, I felt lost. Once a top Ironman athlete, I suddenly struggled to walk to my mailbox. Recovery required zooming out—addressing not just training but stress, sleep, nutrition, and life. As athletes, we train to overcome obstacles.
