Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or CBT, is a short-term, problem-focused form of behavioral treatment that helps people see the difference between beliefs, thoughts, and feelings.
I am a licensed and certified mental health counselor, consultant, therapist, and addictions specialist (LPC, NCC, CAS) with more than 16 years of experience working within culturally diverse groups to provide “solutions-focused” and cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) for individuals, couples, and families. Groups worked with include individuals with excessive stress and challenges of life, trauma, depression, anxiety, severe & persistent mental illness.
