Cameron Animal Rescue is based in Montclair, NJ, serving as the rescue arm of Cameron Animal Hospital. Building on a legacy of compassion dating back to 1936, the rescue formalizes decades of community service by providing a lifeline for vulnerable animals. They specialize in high-needs cases that other shelters may lack the resources to handle, specifically focusing on neonatal kittens, senior pets, and animals with significant medical challenges or injuries. Relying entirely on private donations and grants, the organization works to heal and rehome dogs, cats, and small animals across the tristate area. All adoptions are handled by appointment to ensure the perfect match for every animal in their care.
