Allstar Homes was the worst decision we made when we decided on a builder. Jason and Amy owners of Allstar didn't show up for meetings or take phone calls. They like to operate through text and usually they did not answer you. We had to make so many compromises. They really are not custom home builders. They have a few of their own plans they like to build. There was so many things that happened it's too many to list. Thank goodness we were close or we would of ended up with a different house. Many sub contractors were given wrong plans to our house due to his personal problems. Jason stated he did not have the correct plans. Most of his sub contractors were great and not fans of Jason and Amy. In the end they felt sorry for us and helped get things right. Jason and Amy from Allstar are very shady in their business practices. The day we were closing they sent over an addendum basically blackmailing us to sign it or we weren't closing. Expect a big surprise at the end. There was so much wrong but this may give you an idea on how he runs his business. We have a in law suite (which he has never done and it showed) the day of our walk through I noticed no hot water. Amy stated they just need to flip a switch. Jason didn't even show up for the walk through. Jason was mad because we would call him out on his lies. when I say lies it's pretty much everything out of his mouth. Jason and Amy tell you what they think you want to hear but never the truth. After plumbers inspected they said the in law suite needed a water heater. Jason didn't even know there was only one water heater. He doesn't know what is going on on his own projects. Jason told us it was our fault and he only provides one water heater. ( By the way there was two water heaters on the plans). But this perfect example of him not knowing what's going on. Like we would not have got hot water put in on that side for my father in law. In the end we paid plumbers to put in water heater for times sake and we just couldn't deal with the incompetence anymore. Jason does not even hire a cleaning crew. Our house was filthy. He has his 70 year old mother clean his houses and she is a very sweet lady but you expect more when you move in. My advice is run opposite of Allstar and hire a professional.
