Ms. J is correct: these people are ruthless scammers. Rent from them at your peril!! They took over property where my son & I lived for 5 years and we were top tenants. What they don't realize is that I have Mr. R's former business partner and maintenance supervisor as witnesses. They presented us with an outrageous new "move-out addendum" requirements mid November, effective January 1st. Our yearly lease renewals were always late summer. Refusing to sign, we had to move out right during Christmas and New Year. They're way too greedy to settle on just keeping a small deposit; they tell you to wait 30 days for your deposit to be mailed, but by then they have you in court, blindsided, being required to pay far beyond the deposit amount. These rental units were rented "as is" by Mr. R, and for good reason. The old property we rented couldn't pass city codes.
