Tyler Underwood with Over & Underwood Contracting in Edmonds, WA took a $2777.00 deposit from me and failed to show up to install my hardwood flooring during the 3-day timeframe agreed upon in our agreement. Over & Underwood Contracting is his current company name. More Floors Is Wood is not his company name - he seems to change the name often. He texted me all day that he was on his way, even had his mother (owner of the company) texting me saying he was still coming, but he never showed up. He would not return my calls. I had to hire another company to install flooring to keep to my original timeline as we were listing the house for sale. I've requested a refund from Tyler Underwood, and although he claims he will refund my money, I have not received anything from him. I've reported him to L & I and they are citing him with multiple license violations - including use of a fake license #. I've also filed a complaint with the BBB and he has been banned from the site Thumbtack, which is the site I hired him through. Check Yelp reviews...do a google search...there are others who have been taken advantage of by Tyler Underwood with Over & Underwood Contracting. If I ever receive my refund from him, I will update this review. He is not to be trusted.
