Do NOT patronize this place. I got burned twice by these people. The first time, she screwed up some simple instructions on adding fabric to the bottom of a shower curtain. She really didn't want to do it, but rather than refusing, she decided she wouldn't pass up the money. It took her THREE weeks to get it done. The second time, I thought she might redeem herself with some simple pants alterations for my son's suits. I made the mistake of not trying the pants on him when I got them back--I just picked them up. When it came time for my son to wear the pants two weeks later, we discovered she never took the waist in, and she hemmed the pants TOO HIGH. She charged me over a hundred dollars to hem 4 pairs of suit paints and take in the waistlines, and to shorten the sleeves on a suit jacket. When I brought the mistake to her attention a few weeks later, she tried to tell me she'd charge me $5 more dollars per pair of pants to let the hems out!!!! Seriously? Her excuse was that my son probably grew within such a short amount of time. I told her I wasn't giving her another dime. I asked her, if my son grew so much in such a short period of time, why do you still need to take in the waistlines of the pants? Crickets. No response. She did agree to take in the waistlines, but we never came to an agreement about the hemlines. She lost a customer. And I told her to her face. I also got the impression that her and her daughter were laughing at me in their native language. SO unprofessional and SO grossly incompetent, yet she has the nerve to call herself a tailor. I have NO intention of stepping foot in that dump again. Do yourself a favor--take your business elsewhere!
