My son and I were going to take the Beyond Band of Brothers 5-day Normandy tour from October 4-9 this month. Our flight was delayed due to mechanical issues from Raleigh, NC, and once we knew we would not arrive in time in Paris to meet the tour buses, we decided not to go. We could not afford to free lance travel across France to catch up with the tour. (This is BBOB's "Plan B", for delayed flights). I was disappointed beyond belief, as this is a destination I have wanted to see since childhood. My disappointment was increased when ProCom would not refund any money, nor work with us to reschedule into 2020. I did not buy trip insurance, which is my mistake. But I am mystified as to why a company that caters to veterans to tour places where Americans fought, bled, and died for this nation, won't work with a couple of veterans, (Myself, US Air Force, my son, US Marines) to at least make a partial refund, or try to re schedule next year. Our circumstances were unusual I admit. Delta Airlines refunded us the plane ticket money promptly, but Pro Com will not refund anything. I believe that if we had suffered a death in the family the day of our departure, instead of a malfunctioning airplane, ProCom's response would have been exactly the same: "Sorry for your loss, but we have your money, it's been spent, and you get nothing. Have a nice day." This is the worst case of customer service I have ever experienced,
