I can't say how good their work is, but I absolutely can say that they need better policies regarding their employees. My 9 yo son and I are currently staying in an extended stay hotel near Ft Worth, while waiting for our new apartment to be available. A large group of US Applicators employees have been staying in the rooms around us for the past week (approximately a dozen young men or so). Since they arrived, the walkway outside our rooms is now constantly strewn w cigarette butts (this is the NON SMOKING section of the hotel), garbage, bags of dirty laundry, shoes/boots, and (in the evenings) men cooking on electric stoves. All of which makes it difficult for the rest of us to get into and out of our rooms, as well as being extremely unpleasant to smell/look at. Around 7 am every morning, as they're loading up into their trucks, they shout and carry on, hollering up and down between the parking lot and their rooms. It is currently Saturday morning and we were trying to sleep in, but I'm listening to a group of them yell and carry on just outside my door at this very moment. The most disturbing thing, however, for myself and 2 other single moms staying in this part of the hotel, is the stares and being followed around. Every time we come or go from our rooms, we're met with stares from strange men. When we walk around to another area to avoid them, suddenly they're walking there too, strolling by and staring at us every step of the way. It's frightening, intimidating, and frankly infuriating. Staying here is very expensive, and we shouldn't have to be afraid to leave our rooms! Unfortunately there's not much the hotel can do about it - staring isn't illegal, just INCREDIBLY RUDE. I'd have thought that a company like this would have standards of behavior for their employees, but either US Applicators has no such policies, or they don't bother to enforce them. Sloppy management is sloppy management, and you should take this into account when choosing contractors.
